The program is structured around the strategic business needs of both the corporate partners and the startup/scaling companies selected for the program. Cohort companies will work with experts and mentors, make new connections and have access to resources to accelerate their growth. Core programming is typically around 3 months in duration but may extend based on the key goals of the program and partners.

No, we are a non-equity accelerator. This means there is not an exchange of funds for equity upon selection/acceptance. Introductions to T-Mobile Ventures can be made at the appropriate time.

The T-Mobile Accelerator is looking for startup/scaling companies from around the world that will bring unique technologies to our customers and will benefit from T-Mobile's network and resources. Individual program announcements target use cases that align with the strategic goals that are set in collaboration with our corporate partners.

During the application process, applications are reviewed by a selection committee with follow-up calls/interviews scheduled as needed. Selected finalists are then invited to pitch a cross-functional group. Based on these discussions, offers will be extended to join the cohort.
Reviewers include Accelerator staff, technology and business experts, and representatives from corporate partners. We look for strong, coachable teams with products and services that can leverage our 5G network, fit with corporate strategic goals, and have the potential to partner at scale. -
The corporate partners along with the Accelerator team will select the best mentors for the program based on the needs of the cohort companies. These mentors will be experts from key organizations within the corporation, investors, successful entrepreneurs, business experts and members of the entrepreneurial community.

Companies of any stage will be considered. We welcome growth-stage startups and scaling companies that have achieved initial product-market-fit, are entering their next stage of growth, and are looking to partner at scale with a large corporation.

We have corporate offices and labs across the country with primary locations in Bellevue, WA and Overland Park, KS. All of our facilities feature great open spaces, whiteboard surfaces and several conference rooms with full A/V, helping to foster innovation and collaboration.

Programs average 3 months of activity with varying start dates.

All companies are expected to be professional, honest, and active participants. You should also be available to join virtual & on-site events, open to collaborate and able to make quick decisions.

The T-Mobile Accelerator will facilitate the program and corporate partner interaction. Companies should expect support with facilities, mentors, visibility, and proactive engagement around business opportunities that might emerge from this program.

All Accelerator programs are hybrid, including both virtual and in-person elements. Required in-person activity will be coordinated in advance with reasonable accommodation if possible.

Each party/company will retain ownership over their own IP, unless otherwise specified or negotiated.
